PLC Software Engineer

We seek a skilled and experienced engineer with knowledge within PLC software design.
This person will participate in a team of competent engineers with responsibilities for product development and delivery, in addition to support to rigs in operation.
Our department in Kristiansand develops products specialized for handling heavy loads in very harsh environment offshore and onshore.
The products are fully automated and operated from an operating chair or remote panel, and operating together in a sequence.
We are continuously working to optimize the functionality and efficiency, and we have started to adapt our products into new concepts and industries.


  • Implementation, delivery and follow up of ongoing projects
  • Develop and implement improvements and optimizations of existing functionality
  • Design and deliver documentation package for the products
  • Participate in Internal Acceptance Test/Factory Acceptance Test locally and abroad
  • Support installation- and commissioning teams
  • Support our global offices with product expertise towards rigs in operation

Competence requirements:

  • Relevant education on Master’s or Bachelor level
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience with equivalent work
  • Knowledge within the following fields and tools will be an advantage:
    • Simatic Step7 (classic and TIA)
    • High level programming
    • Experience within robotics
  • Master English and Norwegian both oral and written.
