  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time
  • Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
  • Obtain output information for ongoing jobs in the workshop (number of finished activities, number of defective parts, etc.)
  • Prepare and submit status spreadsheets for ongoing jobs
  • Keep paperwork organized
  • Collaborate with Workshop and Supply Chain regarding workflow of ongoing activities
  • Create Routers with Engineering input
  • Create Move Tickets for any outgoing equipment
  • Plan, Organize, and track parts and material at 3rd party vendors

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as production planner
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
  • SAP experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • High school diploma, further education or certification is preferred
