We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechatronics Engineer with knowledge within Fluid Power (Hydraulics, Pneumatics). You will participate in a team of competent colleagues with responsibilities for products design towards our customers.

Who are you:

You are a skilled hardware engineer, preferable with some years’ experience with equivalent work. You have good knowledge within fluid power and will mostly be working with Hydraulics Design for Drilling and Handling equipment for the Offshore Oil & Gas industry. Therefore, you are expected to:

  • perform engineering design,
  • collaborate with different multi-discipline teams for equipment design,
  • offer technical support to ongoing and aftermarket projects,
  • sporadic field onshore/offshore testing, support, troubleshooting,
  • have technical responsibility for equipment drawings and documentation,
  • get-to-know and execute the internal-external activities, standards, procedures, guidelines, HSSE rules,
  • contribute to technologic development, including internal improvements with teams from different backgrounds.

Key competencies and skills:

  • Experience with hydraulics design and testing of:
    • Drilling equipment for Oil & Gas industry
    • Cranes and pipe/load handling equipment, offshore and marine industry
  • Engineer with preferably a Master degree and more than 5-years experience in the fields of Mechatronics or Mechanics; longer experience in these fields can substitute the lack of formal education
  • Field experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting machinery
  • Capable with CAD software, such as Autocad, Creo or Pro/Engineer, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.
  • Can perform multi-discipline/physics or hydraulic simulations with SimulationX and similar software
