Engineering Manager – Control Systems

We are looking for an Engineering manager for control system deliveries to strengthen our team within the drilling system department.
As an Engineering manager your will have great impact in our project management and your scope of work will be project based.
You will control the lager parts of our rig packages and your key part will be to integrate our clients’ systems into a unified package.
Your work scope will also include large amounts of upgrades on all our automated systems. 

What will you be doing in this role?
As an Engineering manager you will be responsible for the coordination and integration of the individual equipment control systems into one highly automated overall drilling package control system.
In addition, the role will provide technical support to sales, concept engineering, project deliveries, and support to commissioning teams:

  • Technical sales support, technical descriptions, cost
  • Project execution, system design, product integration, Interfaces
  • Follow up product engineering and deliveries
  • Coordinate test activities
  • Support installation and commissioning

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have interests and education within software, hardware, PLC, or network technology.
Preferably with experience from one or more of the disciplines above.
Further, it will be advantageous if your coordinating skills are sovereign and that your diplomatic side shines in all your conversations both internally and externally.
We also think it is essential that you have the following personal attributes:

  • Interested in finding good solutions and engaged in delivering quality results.
  • Flexible and motivated by working with continuous improvements.
  • Team oriented and independent with good communication and cooperation skills.
  • Good communication skills in English both orally and in writing.
  • Norwegian language working proficiency is an advantage.
